Our first stop, Treelodge@Punggol, is Singapore’s very first experimental eco-friendly public housing project. Some of the apartment units are equipped with Green Balconies and Planter Boxes to encourage home gardening in land-scarce Singapore. Perhaps more impressively, the equipment in the Children’s Playground is made of recycled materials. Besides winning Singapore’s first Green Mark Platinum Award, the estate also boasts a clean and futuristic layout that could well be the template for Singapore’s future public housing projects.
And at last I see the light, and it’s like the fog has lifted...Tropical Tangled, anyone?

Sunlight hitting the sweet spot at the canal. Lucky!
An empty field near the Jewel Bridge good for spontaneous model shots. #luckyday
